Do you offer physical or digital gift cards ?

Only digital gift cards are available for purchase online here. Alternatively, you may purchase a physical gift card with different designs from one of our directly owned and operated BOSS, HUGO or outlet stores within Canada which can be redeemed in participating stores only.

Digital gift cards purchased online in Canada can only be redeemed in the HUGO BOSS Canada Online Store or our directly owned and operated HUGO, BOSS and outlet stores in Canada. Physical gift cards purchased in our Canada stores can only be redeemed in the HUGO BOSS Canada Online Store or in our directly owned and operated HUGO, BOSS and outlet stores in Canada.

How can I purchase a gift card online?

You may purchase a digital gift card online here. Once you have placed an order, you will receive all necessary information regarding your purchase via email. The email may be printed or forwarded to another email address for gifting.

Please note that gift cards:
- May have a value between CAD 25 and CAD 2,000 per card.
- Can be used right away
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Cannot be used to purchase another gift card
- Cannot be purchased with a discount

What do I do if the Gift Card I bought hasn't arrived?

Digital gift card order confirmation emails are sent to the email address specified as the 'recipient' and physical gift cards are delivered based on the estimated delivery time advised at the time of placing the order.  Should you not receive your order confirmation email within a few hours, please contact Customer Care here for assistance.

Do gift cards expire?

Hugo Boss Gift cards do not have an expiration date.

You can check the validity of your gift card on hugoboss.com/giftcard via the balance check.

How I can check Gift Card balance and expiration?

You may check gift card balance and validity online by entering the gift card number and PIN. You may also request assistance from our Customer Service team.

How can I redeem a gift card?

To redeem gift card(s) online, you may enter the card number and PIN during the checkout process by selecting gift card as a payment method. Up to 3 gift cards may be redeemed for one order.

If the purchase amount exceeds the balance on the gift card, you may combine it with any other available payment method in the checkout.

To redeem gift card(s) in one of our directly operated BOSS, HUGO or outlet stores, you may present it at the time of payment, as either a print out or show the digital version on your mobile device.

What payment methods can I use to pay for my order?

You may redeem gift card(s) in combination with all payment methods which are available during checkout.

Can I return items I've bought with a Gift Card?

Refunds are issued in the same form as utilized for the payment of your original order.                                                                                        
 
If you paid for your whole order with an physical or digital Gift Card:
•    The refund is issued on a new physical or digital gift card. 
•    In case of a digital gift card, an email confirming the new gift card details along with and refund information is sent out automatically.

If you paid with a combination of physical or digital Gift Card and another payment method:
•    The refund is issued on the alternative payment method first – then the remaining amount is issued on a new gift card.
•    In case of a digital gift card, an email confirming the new gift card details along with and refund information is sent out automatically.

If you paid with a physical or digital gift card in store via our Order from Store Service and return any items using the prepaid return label the refund will be in form of a check mailed to your used billing address of the returned order.
 

What is the difference between a gift card and a voucher?

Gift cards are treated as an alternative to any available payment method offered on our online store.

Vouchers are discounts codes, with a series of letters and numbers, issued by HUGO BOSS in the scope of customer service processes and are sent out from time to time with regards to special events and offers and in accordance with specific terms and conditions. Vouchers are not available for purchase. 

Can I use a voucher to buy a gift card?

Vouchers may not be used to purchase a gift card.

Can I combine gift card with a voucher?

Can I redeem the gift card at partner companies where BOSS and HUGO products can be purchased?

HUGO BOSS gift card(s) is not redeemable at any of our partner company brick and mortar stores, outlets or online shops.

Digital gift cards purchased online can only be redeemed online on hugoboss.com or our directly owned and operated HUGO, BOSS and outlet stores. Physical gift cards purchased in our stores can only be redeemed  online on hugoboss.com or in our directly owned and operated HUGO, BOSS and outlet stores.

What is the minimum & maximum gift card value?/ What is the maximum amount I can upload on a gift card?

A gift card can be charged from CAD 25 up to a maximum or equivalent value of CAD 2,000. Please note that when redeeming a single gift card or multiple giftcards, the total value of CAD 10,000 per order is not be exceeded.

What do I do if my gift card is lost, stolen or damaged?

We recommend that you handle your gift card with due diligence, just like cash. HUGO BOSS assumes no liability for stolen, lost, damaged or misused gift card(s).

Can I recharge my gift card?

We are unable to recharge an already existing digital gift card.

Can I cash out the value of a gift card?

It is not possible to cash out a gift card unless required by law.

Can I have the gift card sent to a different recipient?

Yes, if you would like to gift the gift card to someone, else you can enter the recipient's email address.
